Wow! I’ve managed to access the website……..I am completely hopeless but it seems I’ve pressed the correct button.

Obviously loads has happened since the last news but at the moment we’re busy getting ready for winter. The tups are out with the ewes, the bull has hopefully done his work and is ready to go home, the smaller pigs are inside for the winter and we have quite a few litters due throughout Dec/Jan. We have everything crossed that the hay and silage will last the winter, the dry summer meant we’ve made a lot less than usual but the grass has grown well in the mild autumn so we’ve still got grass for the animals to graze which is a big help.

All thoughts are on the preparation for the Christmas markets, we’ll have our usual pork and lamb available alongside our Aberdeen Angus beef .
