There have been Grays at Ravensworth Grange for more than 130 years, whilst previous generations farmed around Northumberland.
There are five camera shy present inhabitants who are fourth and fifth generation. Two work full time on the farm, for the others, earning a living and school get in the way although they are always there to stand
in a gateway when needed.
All our animals are “born and bred” at Ravensworth Grange. We rear Rare Breed Middle White pigs, Aberdeen Angus cattle and traditional Suffolk cross lambs. To make sure we know exactly what goes into
them, we grow most of their feed.
